The Farmers
During a family clamming trip, the Mahoney's made it to the “End of the Road” at Homer where they discovered Scenic Place Peonies’ secondary Red Cabin Farm off Ohlson Mountain at elevation 1400.
They are blessed to be entrusted to continue the Red Cabin Farm's reputation of producing premium fresh cut peony stems from late-July, August, and September.
The farm will expand to produce and honey.

Seventh consecutive generation farmer Ryan grew up in Iowa. He couldn’t wait to leave the dairy farm for the US Air Force Academy, yet he maintained some kind of garden wherever they lived.
Isobelle (Ice) was a military brat with no farm experience. She served in the Air Force and Alaska State Fire Marshal Office. She heeded their children's advice to "get a real job" working alongside Ryan.
